The Sala de Estar de Picanya will transform the Plaça Major de Picanya into a large cultural meeting space dedicated to the love of reading on Sunday 4 of October. With the collaboration of Picanya City Council, the event invites the whole neighborhood to take to the streets to share the passion for letters in the heart of the town.
From the 11 hours and for an hour and a half, seven writers will gather around a literary table to talk about books and establish an enriching dialogue with the audience. Marta Pérez Carbonell, Monsor's monsor, Carmen Amoraga, Elm Sea, Vicky Palm, Susana Gisbert and Estela Sanchis will share their experiences on both sides of the books: as writers and also as readers.
The intention is to create a relaxed atmosphere, comfortable and familiar, so the public is encouraged to invite other people from their environment: family, friendship, neighbors. Also to bring any item from home that allows them to enjoy the time, such as a pad, a blanket or a chair, as it has traditionally been done, and they expect the participation to be high.
