The Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Valencia will once again become the epicenter of rice culture with the celebration of TastArròs 2026, an event that will bring together chefs, producers and visitors around this product; For two days, rice will be the main protagonist of a program that combines tradition, gastronomy and dissemination and which in the previous edition welcomed more than 40.000 personas
Organized by the D.O.. Rice from Valencia, with the collaboration of the Generalitat Valenciana and the Valencia City Council and the European Eu Rice program, that promotes sustainable rice culture; The 9th edition of this event will pay tribute to the most emblematic product of the region with different restaurants that will offer classic and avant-garde rice dishes for five euros
In addition to its gastronomic character, TastArròs will have various informative activities; will have the traditional not even urban, a rice mill, live music, an exhibition of boats and gear, shows of showcooking with chefs like Carolina Álvarez, of Rare Flowers by Quique Dacosta, Vicente Rioja or Manu Yarza and the popular 'Rice Maker of the Future' contest.
