The Valencian Film Archive will begin a new season at its headquarters in the Rialto building with the screening, he 11 September at 18.00 hours, from the documentary Soledad afternoons (2024), written and directed by the Catalan filmmaker Albert Serra. The film focuses on the figure of the Peruvian bullfighter Andrés Roca Rey and his crew., and offers an intimate and unfiltered portrait of bullfighting both inside the ring and outside the plaza.. The session will feature subsequent film analysis by the film critic and professor of Audiovisual Communication at the Universitat Jaume I Aarón Rodríguez Serrano. The winner of the Golden Shell for Best Film at the San Sebastián Festival, which was also chosen best film of 2025 by Cinema Notebooks, can be seen again on Saturday 12 of September, at 20.00 hours.
