Stellae, invites the public to look at a year that a family passes in a small town, where one of its members is going to work in an astronomical observatory. Through four key moments of the day, during a breakfast, a meal, a snack and dinner celebrated throughout those 12 months, the profound transformation that the mother is experiencing is revealed, father and teenage daughter. Alternating comedy with drama, The plot emphasizes the value of human communication, of the small details and words that anchor the characters to each other, like planets and satellites within the galaxy.
