This month of May is the start of Sounds in the Botanic in the Botanical Garden of the University of Valencia. This magnificent venue will host six new concerts of very different styles, combining already established musicians with young talents to discover, always without losing its characteristic indie essence. This year, In the central grove of the Garden we can enjoy the music of Soleá Morente, Ganges, Delafé, Renaldo & Clara, Neus Ferri and River Club. From May to October, once a month, always on Friday and at dusk, the combination of vegetation, Soft lighting and live music will create magical moments and a unique and unrepeatable experience in each concert., both for the public and for the musicians who participate.
Organized by Saltarinas and Andsons Producciones, both with recognized experience in the sector, For the second year, the festival has the support of Cervezas Alhambra, that collaborates with the cycle inviting you to savor the best musical proposals without haste, offering unique moments to stop and be able to feel the imperceptible and savor the originality of each moment. All concerts will be held in the Botanical Garden at 21:30h, opening its doors to 21:00h y, as usual, There will be an area where drinks and food can be consumed during the performances. Ganges es el proyecto musical de la santanderina Teresa Gutiérrez. Con formación musical clásica su carrera ha transcurrido por las vertientes más íntimas de la electrónica pop con matices lo-fi, bedroom pop e hyperpop con un universo lleno de referencias a la cultura japonesa. Tras el éxito cosechado con su debut “Dime Algo (Bonito)” (2020) y una consecución de singles y colaboraciones con artistas como Natalia Lacunza, Vangoura o Yarea continúa en 2024 para que suponga su consagración. Acaba de publicar su nuevo disco “SORA” producido por Pau Corea (Bearoid) y ella misma, en el que busca encontrar un sonido más propio e identificativo. Ahondando en el breakbeat, la electrónica, capas de texturas asmr envolventes y un techno soft triste, genera una curiosa combinación sobre las que dibuja las líneas de voz híper melódicas y las estructuras con estribillos magnéticos que nos son tan familiares dentro del proyecto.
