He Sona9 begins the 26th season with the ten preliminary concerts of the 30 selected artists. The total of 176 proposals submitted to this year's competition, organized by Enderrock and 3Cat (Catalonia Radio-iCat and TV3), it represents the third edition with the most participation in history and the record number of the last fourteen years, a fact that demonstrates the good health of emerging music in Catalan.
THE 30 selected projects will have to do a performance in June 20 minutes in the ten preliminaries of Barcelona (dies 1, 8, 10 i 17 at the Antiga Fàbrica Damm), Valencia (is 4 in October Contemporary Culture Center), Tarragona (is 6 to the Music Capsa), Andorra (is 11, at the National Auditorium of Order), Salt (is 12 to the La Mirona room), Lleida (is 18 at the Orpheum Space) i Palma (is 23 to Terra Mar i Terra). From these concerts will come the 12 artists who will move on to the semi-finals, that will take place on the days 8, 14 i 16 of July in the room La Nau of the Poble Nou neighborhood of Barcelona.
