Jaime and Marla were “us”. Now there are only two voices that search among memories, reproaches, and silences. Through poetic monologues, the characters Jaime and Marla relive memories, doubts and pain on an empty stage that reflects the emotional loneliness of the couple. Throughout the work, They both struggle to understand what went wrong between them and if they were ever truly “a we”.
