The City Council is organizing two free guided tours to rediscover the city from the point of view of the American writer Ernest Hemingway. These routes were created for the first time on the occasion of the centenary of the first visit to Valencia by the Nobel Prize in Literature, who arrived at the North Station in July of 1925. On the occasion of this ephemeris, the council presented two tours of places and landscapes in Valencia linked to the writer, two itineraries that this month of June can be done again with a guide and for free.
The first crosses the historic center of Valencia, where enclaves such as the Hotel Excelsior are visited, the North Station, The bullring, the post office, The City Council of Valencia, the Queen Victoria Hotel, the English Hotel, Café El Segle, the micalet, The ideal coffee, The Hotel Vincci I Hotel Royal. The second focuses on the maritime area, and includes spaces such as the old Grau station, the sea station, L'Urinari Chaves, The La Pepica Restaurant, the picnators, the Arenes beach, the slaughterhouse and the house of the oxen.
The first of these routes will take place next Friday 12 of June, to them 19.00 hours, with exit from the Town Hall square. On Friday 19, also at 19.00 hours, the second visit will take place, by Malva-rosa beach, that will start from the Les Arenes Spa. Both activities will be held in Valencian.
