The Cultural Tourism offer of Valencia incorporates, From this Monday, a new purpose of branded cultural character: The City Council of Valencia, Through the Turisme Servici, has launched the Hemingway Route, An initiative born with the aim of strengthening the position of Valencia as a cultural tourist destination. The American writer first visited Valencia in July 1925 i, From that moment, established a lasting relationship with the city over the years. The new cultural route,of free character, enhances the history and cultural heritage of our city, i to FAs through Universal Figures with Hemingway.
The Hemingway Route is divided into two complementary itineraries that allow the city to know through the places that marked the writer. The first crosses the historic center of Valencia, where Hemingway was seduced by the cultural and intellectual atmosphere of the time. In this route you can visit enclaves such as the Hotel Excelsior, the North Station, The bullring, the post office, The City Council dand Valencia, L’Ten Reina Victoria, l’Hotel Irevelation, Café el Siglo, the micalet, The ideal coffee, The Hotel Vincci I Hotel Royal.
The second route focuses on the maritime area, reflex of the hedonism and calm that Hemingway found next to the Mediterranean. Visits are made on foot, are free and lasting about an hour and a half.
