Russafart emerges once again, marking the closing of a fifteen-year cycle and giving way to an era of maturity in the artistic and cultural field.. This pioneering event, who challenged convention by opening art studios to the public, has become a beacon of inspiration and social collaboration in the vibrant Russafa neighborhood. Nowadays, We are recognized as an epicenter of artistic innovation, both locally and globally, attracting visitors and creators from all corners of the planet. We are facing an exceptional moment to enter the most intimate spaces of artistic creation, where workshops and artistic studios become the center of creative activity. It is here where inspiration and motives find their definitive expression., revealing the daily process of art in all its magnitude. The stories of those who have experienced these encounters make up a unique work: “Each workshop is its own universe, each artist an enigma to be deciphered”. In this complicity, art and culture reach their climax, transcending barriers and connecting with the deepest part of the human being. Throughout these 15 years, artistic creation has flourished incessantly, without us hardly realizing it.
The days 7, 8 y 9 June 2024, under the motto “Power art”, We are preparing to inaugurate a new stage by reopening the doors of the workshops and artistic spaces of the Russafa neighborhood in Valencia. This reunion between the public and the first line of the artistic creation process represents the culmination of a two-year period of waiting and tireless effort., evidencing the continuous evolution and renewal of languages and forms of artistic expression. Despite the changing challenges of today's society, Russafart emerges with renewed energy in this 2024, providing the opportunity to explore the works of more than 250 artists and anticipating an exciting future full of creativity in the Valencian artistic scene. More of 250 artists, that cover disciplines such as painting, the sculpture, the photograph, video art, urban art and performance, invite you to immerse yourself in this creative manifestation, distributed among workshops and artistic projects, as well as in the exhibition spaces that collaborate with the Biennial. This group exhibition reveals the various ways of making, create and think of the collective of artists that lives in the Russafa neighborhood, showing an exciting and promising outlook for the future of art and culture in our society.
