His last visit to Spain at the end of the 2024, confirmed it amply: tickets were sold out in several cities, proving that your audience is not only still there, but it grows. That return was the perfect prelude to a particularly fertile moment for the band.. They celebrated their 45 anniversary with an award-winning documentary, a definitive biography and a self-titled double album that surprised even those who have been following them for decades. Eighteen direct and luminous songs, produced and recorded with Josh Klinghoffer (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Jane’s Addiction).
In parallel, the band has been presenting the documentary Born innocent: The Redd Kross story at international festivals—including In-Edit in Spain—while the American press highlighted his new album as one of the most inspired works of his career.. The McDonalds have taken advantage of that momentum to activate new material, collaborations and an unusual activity for a band with nearly fifty years of experience, but who continues writing songs with the freshness of someone who has not lost curiosity.
