As the second recital of the season 25-26, IVAM and Les Arts are planning a special recital dedicated to the exhibition Dare to more. Valencia before regulatory art. 1947-1960, which can be seen in the gallery 4 of the IVAM with a guided visit and a subsequent recital by the singers of the Arts Center.
The proposal, as usual, is integrated plant in two parts: a first part in the form of a guided tour dedicated to getting to know the exhibition Dare to more. Valencia before regulatory art. 1947-1960, in which a sample is discovered that is presented as an open investigation that offers a new look at this Valencian historical period from an interdisciplinary perspective and methodology, attentive to the social context and critical with a conception of art as an autonomous reality, alien to the world around him. And a second part that, once the visit is over, offers, in the same room, a recital in which the singers of the Perfection Center will perform a concert dedicated ex professo to the exhibition with works by J. Rodrigo, F. Mompou, M. Salvador, V. Asencio and E. Lopez Chavarri.
The exhibition, through a selection of more than two hundred works by more than fifty artists (with plow Manolo Gil, Jacinta Gil, Angels Ballester, Juan Genovés, Joaquim Michavila, Vincent Castellano, Manuel Baeza, Peiró Coronado or Rosa Fagoaga, others) and abundant documentation, reviews the contributions of the various collectives and artists who took the lead in the renewal of the arts in Valencia during this period, while paying special attention to the changes in the arts of the Catholic Church, to the persistences and derivations of the Modern Movement in architecture, interior design and mural art.
The Center for The Breaking of the Arts Palace (Opera Studio Del Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofía) its fundamental objective is to promote high-level professional training aimed at young singers and musicians from Spain, of the European Union and the remainder of the mon; to organically and structurally prepare the lyrical singer and to promote as much as possible their appropriate insertion in the professional world. For that, during the training period, the members of theStudio Opera they live and coexist with the day-to-day life of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, they participate in the activities scheduled in each season and are in close contact with the artists involved. For two consecutive seasons, the new promotion of singers and pianists develops their interpretative style under the guidance of María Bayo as musical advisor.
