Ram Sessions: Cuareim Quartet

This new project pays tribute to the history of jazz through a current look, poetic and anthropological. The public will experience the transformation of jazz in each of its stages. A journey that will take place from the “jazz funeral” of New Orleans to the great orchestration of Broadway songs. It will continue for the years 50 with the modal colors of “cool jazz” to the frenetic energy of the years 60 each time in crescendo with an apotheotic ending. Cuareim Quartet proposes an original jazz repertoire composed of the components themselves that balances between rich writings and embodied improvisations at the service of the expression of these musicians with strong artistic personalities.

A show with a lot of character, complicity and musical caresses that transmit the pure essence of an unusual style performed by this magnificent classical string quartet formed by:
_Rodrigo Bauzá, violinist of the Berlin Radio Orchestra, composer and improviser.
_Federico Nathan, concertmaster of the Amsterdam Metropol Orchestra and jazz teacher at the Berklee School.
_Olivier Samouillan, jazz violist, Graduated from Berklee in Boston.
_Guillaume Latil, cellist, composer and improviser protagonist of the current French scene.
