Premiere of the work Roots and resonances, selected project in the second edition of the Residing in research program convened by the University of Valencia and subsequent colloquium on the role of culture as a vehicle for dialogue between science and society. Roots and resonances It is a newly created artistic experience with live music composed for the occasion and accompanied by electronics and video. The work is inspired by the line of research of the SIV group (service+innovation+value) of the Institute of International Economics on the unsustainability and impacts of cultural tourism and that allows exploring how art can become a vehicle for knowledge transfer and social awareness. After the premiere, a round table will be held with cultural and tourism agents in order to reflect on the intersection between art, science and knowledge and the role of culture for scientific dissemination and citizen participation.
