The next mars 3 of March, at 19:30 h, he L’Iber Museum (Valencia) we will have the book presentation In the footsteps of Julius Caesar in Hispania, of the writer Arturo Gonzalo Aizpiri. The work proposes a suggestive journey through Roman Hispania following in the footsteps of Gaius Julius Caesar, a decisive and often forgotten facet of his political and military career. Since his arrival in Corduba in 69 a.c. as quaestor until his last years as dictator, Caesar lived in Hispanic lands some of the episodes that would mark not only his destiny, but that of Rome and the ancient world. Through the still visible traces of his passage through Hispania, Arturo Gonzalo Aizpiri invites us to rediscover the Caesar who was forged far from Gaul, in a story that combines historical rigor, dissemination and love for shared heritage. The author will be accompanied at the table by Antonio Penades y Alejandro Noguera, director of the L'Iber Museum, in a meeting open to the public and aimed at readers, history lovers and passionate about the Roman world.
