The Espigol project in Herbers is a comprehensive initiative of the Associació Àmbit and the Herbers City Council aimed at the social and labor reintegration of people in vulnerable situations. Through different spaces and services, we seek to promote autonomy, inclusion and community participation.
We have inclusive housing, where we offer a stable and accompanied environment to facilitate personal and integration processes. Besides, we have a training space, where workshops and training activities are held that promote social skills, employment and independent living.
The Espigol teahouse functions as a women's space in the town , where the meeting is promoted, coexistence and equality. We complement these actions with our autonomy promotion service, which accompanies each person in a personalized way in their process of personal and social growth for the elderly in the locality.
Finally, we celebrate Espigol Fest, an annual event that brings together the community around cinema, culture and solidarity, making visible the values of inclusion and mutual support that define our project with an international projection.
