Pere Alberch Vie (Badalona, 1954 – Madrid, 1998) was a developmental biologist and experimental embryologist. His scientific career was mainly focused on problems of morphogenesis during evolution (phylogeny) and development (ontogeny), especially in the embryonic phase. He was a professor at Harvard University 1980 al 1989, i director of the National Museum of Natural Sciences of Madrid (1989-1998).
