Antonio Manuel Álvarez Vélez, Pitingo, was born in Ayamonte, Huelva, in a family with a strong Flemish tradition. since young, he combined his passion for flamenco with soul music, influenced by legends like Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles. This fusion gave rise to his unique style, the “souleria”. Pitingo has taken his art to international stages, with Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, and has sung in front of figures like Barack Obama. Besides, has collaborated with renowned artists in various genres. Among his albums, Soulería stands out (2008) i Olé & Amen (2011). With a career in constant evolution, Pytingo continues to explore new musical paths, exciting the public and keeping alive the essence of theirs “souleria”.
