Peter Holsapple, also member of The dB's, will perform in La Batisfera only 26 days after Chris Stamey always former member of The dB's! This is the same Peter Holsapple who joined R.E.M.. on his last stage during Green's tour, and participated as guitarist, bassist and keyboardist on the platinum album Out of Time. Peter will play alongside the writer, archivist and drummer Pat Thomas, author of books on the Black Power movement, the American radical Jerry Rubin and Allen Ginsberg, as well as a collector of records by artists such as Dusty Springfield, Television y Aretha Franklin. Peter and Pat will perform at La Batisfera on Wednesday 8 of June. They could have played in bigger venues, but they have chosen La Batisfera in tribute to the spirit of Cabanyal and this artistic and musical space, which has also hosted unique Mekons concerts and will feature the incredible Helen McCookerybook for a live concert/exhibition on 17 of April.
