The Filmoteca presents the traveling cycle “Permanence of the ephemeral” programmed by Punto de Vista – Navarra Documentary Film Festival. Curated by Miquel Martí Freixas, artistic director of the festival, consists of five sessions composed from found footage digital, films made exclusively with internet files by artists and filmmakers who in the last fifteen years have observed, captured, analyzed and reassembled amateur material from social networks to reformulate it and create audiovisual works.

The fetishism of collecting images. From all eras and formats. find them, safeguard them, order them, play with them, even recreate them. The fascination to understand them, to find a meaning for them, if it exists. The collective Pastinaca Videotapes Plantation has brought to light in recent years a fertile and mysterious archive of homemade VHS TEN Tapes is a sample of ten tapes, maybe random. Lincoln Pericles Jr. deepens the representation of the social margins in his country exhibiting in Other people's film a series of mobile phone clips, stolen, to understand what the common citizen films. Lluís Galter plays with the imposture of stock image packages to compose a fun reinterpretation of their commercial uses through a peculiar serial entitled Ohio Sonata. Jeppe Lange's mostra one Abyss a fast and extraordinary correlation of more than ten thousand images whose associations have not been created by a human but by the intelligence of search engines.
