The Filmoteca presents the traveling cycle “Permanence of the ephemeral” programmed by Punto de Vista – Navarra Documentary Film Festival. Curated by Miquel Martí Freixas, artistic director of the festival, consists of five sessions composed from found footage digital, films made exclusively with internet files by artists and filmmakers who in the last fifteen years have observed, captured, analyzed and reassembled amateur material from social networks to reformulate it and create audiovisual works.

The collective of filmmakers Neozoon carries out, for fifteen years, a unique reading of social networks and the citizens who populate and nurture them. From surprising rhythmic and collagistic montages, they delve deeper into collective social behaviors, crumbling their self-representations and obsessions, teetering between fun and awkwardness, struggling with concepts like faith, virility, sadism or the complex relationships of human beings with other animal beings. His sagacious gaze and editing techniques dissect the flow of expressions in the network to form an infinite mosaic of microscreens, cathartic mirror of our society. (Miquel Martí Freixas)
