Living Archaeology in Gaza. Forensic Architecture. United Kingdom. 2022. VOS SPANISH. Color. 11′. DCP.
There will be no more night. Eleanor Weber. France. 2020. VOS SPANISH. Color. 76′. DCP.

The multidisciplinary research group Forensic Architecture, that uses architectural techniques and technologies to examine cases of human rights violations, explore in Living Archaeology in Gaza the survival of the archaeological heritage in Palestine. Aligning all the available images and digitally excavating the millennial vestiges, evidence of the fragile survival of Palestinian heritage and history after decades of bombing.
In today's wars, nothing is hidden anymore. Helicopters fly over the Middle East with powerful thermal cameras. The soldiers locate the people designated as enemies at night, converted into spectral traces. In There will be no more night, la filmmaker and theater director Eléonore Weber researches the war night images to write an essay on contemporary conflicts. Analyzing videos and listening to testimonials, reflects on the ability to see and be seen, about the reasoning of those who fight and their extreme dehumanization. (Miquel Martí Freixas)
