Exciting iceberg safaris in the Arctic. Wonderful journeys through melting ice and desertification. Celebrate that the world is ending. This is the premise of‘Icemeltland Park, a disgusting geographic puzzle about climate change. The Italian filmmaker Liliana Colombo remixes with imagination and sarcasm the happy destruction of the globe, converted through selfies and smiles in an apocalyptic theme park.
One Minute to Zero, of the producer, French visual artist and programmer Oliver Dutel, it is a spectacular sound and optical party. A fabulous collection of digital videos from raves of the whole planet — India, Mexico, Brazil, England— is refilmed in 16mm. Dazzling colors burst into the middle of the night, the noise of the sound system makes the celluloid vibrate. An amazing music remix, ball, foc i explosions, the collective rampage before the final hour. (Miquel Martí Freixas)
