Easter DiverActiva

The City Council of Valencia, through the municipal facilities of Sustainable Valencia, the Climate Change Observatory and the Energy Office, has organized a special program of free activities aimed at the family public on the occasion of Easter. Under the umbrella of the "Easter DiverActiva" initiative, recreational and educational proposals focused on sustainability and energy are offered. These activities are designed as a responsible leisure alternative for families who stay in the city during the Holy Week and Easter holidays, and will be developed in different municipal spaces with the aim of bringing environmental knowledge closer together in a participatory way.

The schedule starts the days 7 i 10 April 12 at the Office of Energy. Monday 7 of April will be held in the Energy Office of the neighborhood of Ayora the activity Escape Room E.N.E.R.G.Í.A.”, a proposal aimed at a family audience that raises, through playing and solving puzzles, different challenges related to the responsible use of energy and energy efficiency.

On your part, Thursday 10 In April, the "Renovable Energies Family Yincana" will take place in the Torrefiel Municipal Market, a dynamic activity in which participants can discover, through tests and games, the role of renewable energy and its importance in the fight against global warming.

The program will continue at the Climate Change Observatory, in its Cabanyal facilities, with new activities every day 9 i 11 April 13. Wednesday 9 In April, the storyteller Abella will take place zoom zoom”, an activity aimed at middle-aged boys and girls 3 i 7 years that will start at 11 hours. Through this story, participants will discover the fundamental role of bees as pollinators and the importance of conserving biodiversity. The activity will be completed with a craft related to the theme.

Friday 11 April 13, also at 11 in the morning, a climate play library aimed at family audiences will be held from 3 years. In this space, attendees can enjoy board games, creative activities and reading educational materials focused on the environment and global warming.

The Observatory's programming will continue on Saturday 25 of April with the resumption of "Saturdays DiverActivis", which on this occasion will include a workshop for the construction of bird feeders from recycled materials. The activity, addressed to the public from 6 years, will start at 11 hours and aims to promote the reuse of waste and the protection of urban wildlife.
