All day long, Visitors will be able to enjoy the intervention at the intersection of Corona Street and Guillem de Castro, and it will be between 19:00 h and the 22:00 h when the programming of activities intensifies.
Through this proposal, Monsignor Sorell – Corona proposes a participatory use of urban space, specifically the traditional space of the Fallas monument, which is occupied daily by parked vehicles. The commission thus seeks a meeting point between citizens and artists to create an open dialogue about the public space itself..
This temporary action aims to promote an exchange between the Fallero collective and the neighborhood, reimagining the design of the plaza from a more collaborative point of view, Creative and people-first. Park(ing) Day is an unprecedented initiative among the Fallas commissions of València, but it is part of a global and participatory project in which artists, designers and citizens collaborate to temporarily transform parking spaces, turning them into public parks and clean spaces, in defense of a safer streets model, ecological and equitable for people.
