Mario's daughter, Lara, decides to marry Eduardo, a successful young novelist. But Lara has told her boyfriend a bizarre story about her parents' lives., hiding that they are separated with an unemployed father, so that Eduardo's parents, rich Paraguayan landowners, very religious and conservative, give your approval to the wedding.
