The prestigious Austrian formation Orchestra of the Mozarteum of Salzburg visits the Palau de la Música for the third time with the conductor and British harpsichordist Trevor Pinnock, who has not been on stage at Sala Iturbi for a while 24 years and who is recognized worldwide as one of the greatest exponents of the modern recovery of the interpretation of early music. This is a program in which the young and brilliant cellist Julia Hagen makes her debut in Valencia. In the first half, they will interpret the opening of "The Magic Flute" by Wolfgang A. Mozart and later Antonin Dvořák's famous Concerto for cello and orchestra, considered one of the greatest concert pages in the history of music, full of strength, color, melody and romanticism. In the second part, the public will be able to listen to Symphony no. 5 called "Symphony of Destiny" by Ludwig van Beethoven, with a revolutionary structure, which reveals the stylistic influences of the Viennese classical period and which would end with the mold-breaking figure of Beethoven himself.
