Delicious program proposed by the Orchestra of Valencia, directed by the Valencian teacher Jaume Santonja. The public will be able to listen to a Spanish-Czech program in which the symphonic poem will be interpreted in its first half castile by the composer María de Pablos i the Baetic fantasy by Manuel de Falla, a score originally written for piano, which on this occasion is orchestrated by the Valencian composer Francisco Coll. Already in the second half, the Symphony no. 9 in E minor “Del nou món” by Dvořák, one of the symphonies preferred by the general public in which the Czech composer takes melody and orchestral color to supreme symphonic heights, and although faithful to its bohemian roots, introduces several American folkloric elements.
