Xaloq is an international quintet based in Rotterdam (Netherlands). The group was born from the hand of the Alcoy saxophonist Pau Jordà, based on his desire to explore and reshape the music of Valencian roots from the perspective of jazz and free improvisation. Since its creation. Xaloq has performed on various stages in the Netherlands and Spain, among which the North Sea Jazz Festival stands out, North Sea Roundtown, They threw Vester from Rotterdam and the International Sample of Jazz and Blues of Cambrils. His debut album “When you see that you no longer sing” was published at the beginning of 2025, in it, the group presents its proposal to revisit traditional music in a very unique way, fresh and full of uniqueness.
