Anselm Kiefer's work is constructed from multiple layers of meaning in which history converges., poetry, mythology and literature. In this framework, music occupies a central place as a source of thought, memory and emotional structure. The main piece of the program is the String Quartet no. 14 in d minor, D. 810 “Death and the Maiden” by Franz Schubert. The painting under the same name is in the Hall 3 from the Hortensia Herrero Art Center (CAHH). This concert thus proposes a meeting space between image and sound, where listening becomes a way of looking and looking becomes a way of listening.
