Since its first edition in 1992, The Castell Music Festival has been transforming the Dénia Castle into a nerve center of the cultural scene and has become one of the most traditional festivals on the national scene. Throughout his 31 Previous editions the festival has brought together thousands of admirers of traditional and popular music who have come en masse to celebrate the mediterranean soul through the notes and chords of the numerous groups that have been part of the programming.
In this 32 edition the festival poster is presented with 4 concerts to be held entirely on the Castle esplanade.
Since Wednesday 24 to saturday 27 of July will pass through the stage first DolçTab Jazz Project with its fusion of Valencian music in which the dolçaina takes center stage as a Jazz instrument. Thursday will be the group's turn Fetén Fetén with their show “Traditional” in which they will present us with a tour of the popular rhythms of the Peninsula in the form of waltzes, jacks, pasodobles, charros, wheels or seguidillas. Already on Friday Amura, a new musical adventure formed by Isabel Julve, Matthieu Saglio and José 'El Piru' will invite the listener to let themselves be rocked to the rhythm of flamenco beats and be moved by aromas of memories and trips through distant soundscapes. And as a culmination of the Festival, Rodrigo Cuevas will fill the castle stage with magic with its 'La Romería' tour, a show that appears extroverted, caliente, ambitious, alegre, danceable and even epic.
Four new shows that combine tradition and modernity and represent an outstanding continuation of more than three decades of Música al Castell, the longest-running Valencian festival dedicated to folk.
