Women, Armed conflict and peace in Colombia

Twenty -four women from Colombia put face to the thousands of women who organize both in the country and in exile to demand a complete peace, With social and gender justice. Colombian women and their organizations play a fundamental role in the defense of life in the midst of violence and the search for a negotiated political solution for the armed conflict in their country.

Through the art of Patricia Iranzo and the strength of her photographs, The portrayed women bring us their struggles, Peace expectations and desires. This exhibition is, in addition, An invitation to look straight and peace from another angle: What is peace?, What is the absence of violence?, How do I build peace from my own vital scenarios?

An exhibition produced by the Atelier International Cooperation Organization, With photographs of the artist Patricia Iranzo, the commissioner of the conservative of Museums Isabel Justo and the support of the Generalitat Valenciana and the Museum of History of València.
