Inaugural session of the Sample of committed cinema from Burkina Faso. The cycle that begins 17/10 in the UPV Student House and which will end on 20/11/2024. This is a mini series of committed Burkinabé cinema with a gender perspective..
In this inaugural session we will present the cycle and show two short documentaries:
- War at school, from RTVE. It talks about what the terrorist violence in Burkina Faso is implying at the educational level., with the closure of thousands of schools due to this violence. 24 minutes.
- Documentary about a cooperation project financed by the UPV in 2008, which was carried out with the local women's association "APFG - Association for the Promotion of Women in Gaoua". This project served as a trigger for the subsequent birth of CIM Burkina. 16 minutes.
As speakers we have the Valencian protagonists of that project.
