The Museum of Prehistory of Valencia now houses an exhibition that covers Valencian history on a journey of 2.300 years narrated through its coins. A selection of 145 pieces and some personal objects of Vidal Valle Ortí and its numismatic collection composed of 1.070 coins, known as ‘Kingdom of Valencia’, The most important of its genre, shape this sample that can be visited until March 2025. So, The Temporary Exhibition Chamber of the Diputació Museum located in the La benefit cultural center becomes the scene of a unique sample entitled ‘Valencian currency. Col·lectió Vidal Valle Ortí ’which offers lovers of history and numismatics the possibility of discovering how the coins were manufactured, What designs were represented and how they evolved over the centuries. It also addresses aspects such as the economy, the policy and society of each era that are reflected in the exposed pieces.
