Mochi (URUGUAY) is a trans singer born in Montevideo who has played, recorded and collaborated with artists such as Chico César (Brazil), The Kuelgue (Argentina), Fernando Cabrera, Adrian Berra, Juliet Laso, Liliana Herrero. He is currently considered one of the great contemporary composers of the Rio de la Plata and is one of the most popular independent artists in the region..
On this occasion he arrives in Valencia with the Argentine pianist Noelia Sinkunas to present an intimate concert where the River Plate song unfolds in its deepest and most sensitive form.. In this voice and piano format, both artists build a close and powerful soundscape, where each song breathes new arrangements, silences and shared climates.
The repertoire covers songs from all of Mocchi's discography, from his first compositions with a strong emotional charge to the most recent pieces of The cold that summons us, in versions specially created for this meeting. Sinkunas' interpretation expands the universe of songs, opening spaces for improvisation, listening and musical dialogue on stage.
The concert will take place at Kafcafé, a live music club in the heart of Valencia that is characterized by its acoustic and close concerts, where artists and audiences share a direct and intimate experience around music.
A night to listen closely to songs that speak from memory, identity, territory and emotion.
