The municipality of Sirat will host the next 20 June 2026 the celebration of market de la Terra – 1st Fair of the Río Mijares Commonwealth, an initiative that will turn the Plazas Mayor and San Isidro into a great meeting space for the promotion of local products, the craft, gastronomy, entrepreneurship and the cultural heritage of the region. The day is organized by the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP), within the framework of the actions promoted together with LABORA, with the collaboration of the Río Mijares Commonwealth, the Territorial Pact for Employment Río Mijares, the City Council of Sirat and the participating entities of the territory. The event was created with the aim of promoting the local economy, promote the visibility of local producers and entrepreneurs and value tourism resources, cultural and natural of Alto Mijares, contribuyendo a la dinamización social y económica de los municipios rurales. Throughout the day, Neighbors and visitors will be able to enjoy a wide range of agri-food products, handicraft, gastronomy, cultural activities, live music, guided tours and proposals aimed at children, configuring an experience designed for all audiences.
A program to discover Sirat and the territory
The official opening will take place at 10:30 hours in front of the City Hall Sirat, starting an intense programming that will combine tourist activities, gastronomic and cultural. Among the notable proposals are guided tours of local heritage, that will allow you to discover some of the main historical and cultural resources of the municipality, like the Count's Tower, the traditional oven, the Casa Abadía or the Matadero Contemporary Art Gallery. In addition, at 11:00 hours will be held I Route of the Mijares River Pact, a family-friendly hiking activity pet friendly that will visit some of the most representative natural environments of the town. The gastronomic program will include a craft beer tasting organized by the Tasta stand Olletes, while at 14:00 hours a great popular paella will take place, one of the activities with the greatest capacity to attract people of the day.

Music and festive atmosphere to close the day
The program will continue in the afternoon with new cultural visits and will end with a musical afternoon by the duo Cuerda y Alma, that will provide the soundtrack at the closing of this first edition of the market of the Earth. The organization foresees a significant participation of producers, artisans and entities of the territory, as well as the attendance of visitors from different municipalities of the region and other areas of the province.. With this initiative, The FVMP and collaborating entities are committed to an event model that combines local development, tourism promotion, sustainability and valorization of heritage, contributing to strengthening territorial identity and generating new opportunities for rural areas.
