What a film: The Barracuda tresor

In the family sessions of March, the little ones can enjoyThe Barracuda tresor, Valencian film winner of the Lola Gaos Award for best animated feature film and nominated for the Goya in the same category. It is a fast-paced adventure film with a very careful animation design. Heiress of the best tradition of the illustrated story, in addition to entertaining, conveys very interesting values ​​for children: the liberating power of knowledge and reading and the importance of the chosen family. Besides, The Barracuda tresor, which will be projected in Valencian on the days 7 i 8 of March (International Women's Day), breaks with gender stereotypes by presenting a girl as the active protagonist and heroine of the film. Based on the novel of the same name by Plans Campos Martinez, published in 2014, the film is directed by Adrià García, the filmmaker behind the acclaimed Nocturna, nominated at the Annecy Festival and winner of the Goya for best animated feature film in 2008. In the session on Saturday 7 of March there will be a presentation by members of the film's team.
