In the Menuda Filmo sessions in April, the animated film Dunia and the echo of the drum are scheduled, a moving song about interculturality and the culture of peace performed by a Syrian girl who immigrated to Canada with her grandparents. According to its co-director, Syrian-born artist Marya Zarif, "Dunia embodies a whole generation of small migrants who inspired me with their hunger to live. She is their voice and gives face to these children, offering them a positive role model to help them overcome obstacles.”
