Different entities from Mislata and Valencia report that the road between Mislata and Campanar is designed exclusively on protected areas: the Túria natural park and the Campanar vegetable garden. The organizations have called a protest march for the next one 13 of September against the reactivation of the project.
The planned road is planned to cross the natural park of Túria by means of a newly built bridge. Then it will cross the Partida de Dalt de l'horta de Campanar, one of the most valuable agricultural spaces still preserved in the metropolitan area of Valencia. The Partida de Dalt is crossed by the Tormos ditches, Rascanya and Mestalla and is where the largest concentration of medieval mills in the orchard is located. Besides, the road will cross some agricultural plots, which will be condemned and probably abandoned due to lack of profitability, and will involve the felling of centenary trees located on the margins of the garden of Campanar.
The march will start from the Campanar fire station on Sunday 13 to them 10 hours. It is called by the Per l'Horta association, the Table for the Departure, the Coordinator for the Defense of the Túria Forests, the Association of Neighbors and Neighbors of Campanar, H2O Mislata, the Cantarranes Cultural Association of Benimàmet and the Local Defense and Reconstruction Committees.
