Martin is one of the most unique voices of the new Spanish alternative scene. Basque artist, actor and singer, His project moves on the margins of the most authorial indie, with an intimate proposal, nostalgic and deeply autobiographical. His songs work like small pieces of a memory album., where fragility coexist, sound experimentation and a very marked literary sensitivity. His artistic career took a decisive turn after his time in Operación Triunfo, where he entered with just 18 years and became one of the finalists. Since then, Martin has built his way away from prefabricated formulas, betting on a project taken care of down to the last detail and thought of as a complete work. In March his first album will be released, “Sunstroke”, a conceptual project whose title is inspired by the work of Carmen Laforet. Produced entirely together with Hidrogenesse, the album moves between the experimental and the emotional, exploring new sound textures without losing the confessional character that defines their music. Parallel to his musical career, He has developed his role as an actor, participating in the series “Mariliendre”, created by Los Javis, and currently being part of the cast of new audiovisual productions that expand his creative universe and his relationship with interpretation.
