Venezuelan musician and multi-instrumentalist with more than 20 years of experience as a performer of the Venezuelan Cuatro, Mandolin, Bandola Llanera, Guitar and electric bass. Currently, He is one of the representatives of the Venezuelan Cuatro with the greatest international projection and has shared stages with artists of the stature of Simón Díaz, Guiana Serenade, Gualberto Ibarreto, Maria Teresa Chacin, Gurrufío Ensemble, C4 Trio, Alexis Cardenas, Omar Acosta, Pacho Flores, Alain Pérez, The Sabandeños, Thomas Encho, The Cuban Jazz Syndicate by Michael Olivera, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Venezuela, among others. Marcel Montcourt presents his concert in trio format, accompanied by Ricardo Osorno on Electric Bass and Pancho Montañez on Drums. Together they will offer a proposal that fuses the tradition of the Venezuelan Cuatro and explores rhythms, improvisations and nuances that reflect the richness of Jazz and World Music.
