RUDE MAGA: THE FEMALE BRAZILIAN SKA BAND ON THEIR FIRST EUROPEAN TOUR. Formed in the 2019 and inspired by Jamaican Music in its three steps: Rock Steady, Shall y Reggae. Texts with social content, feminism and, of course, fun.
Their fully feminine Line Up comes from many different Brazilian Underground bands. (Pesticides, Charlotte Killed a Guy, Bisk8): Camis Brandão (vocals), Jessica Aguilera (guitar and backing vocals), Dori Onnez (bass), Fernanda Terra (drums), Isadora Bourdot (keyboards), Flavia Bigai (trombone), and Gabi Calado (trumpet).
They opened in their homeland for bands like The Aggrolites or Roy Ellis. 2023 they won the “Breakthrough Band” at the Skataplá Award (acclaimed Jamaican music award in Brazil) and in 2024, “Hit of the Year”, granted by our old friend Gabriel Thomaz from Autora
