Tavi, a trans woman who has survived the darkest decades of 20th century Spain, He finds himself in the solitude of a church in front of his only confidant: the Morena Virgin of the town where she was born. Through a monologue that travels between confession and reckoning, Tavi rebuilds his life, starting with a childhood marked by the oppressive silence of the rural environment. The story delves into the reality of sexile through the experience of Tavi and the LGTBI generation to which he belongs.. For it, It is based on music and songs from the repertoire that marked an era of which there are hardly any testimonies left., remembering the lives of those, after having fought battles of survival and precariousness to conquer their freedoms, They now face the challenge of care in an environment that still makes them invisible.

Dearest Mother is part of a project that will address, through talks and meetings with experts in the field, on the occasion of the premiere of the work, the realities of aging in the LGTBI population, Sexile and its social consequences, as well as the hierarchies of discrimination that exist within the group itself.
