The SGAE Center Cultural Room Valencia hosts the presentation of the book L’encanteri de Valentí, a contemporary music project for young violinists developed by the José Iturbi Municipal Conservatory of Music, with the support of the SGAE Foundation and the Valencia City Council.
The event will feature interventions by Ricardo J. Roca (director of the Municipal Conservatory José Iturbi), Jesus Piles (member of the Territorial Council of SGAE of the Valencian Community), Elena Solanes (teacher and coordinator of the initiative), Maria Aranguren (designer) and the composers and pedagogues Miguel Ángel Berbis, José Javier Peña Aguayo, Sonia Megias, Vicente Roncero and Nuria Núñez Hierro.
Besides, Yu Huang, Clovis Antonio Perea Peña, Timeaa Analia Constantín, Paula Martínez Romero and Jaume López Ramírez, students of the José Iturbi Conservatory, will perform the violin works included in the volume and written by the five composers mentioned.
Through this project, the aim is to awaken the interest of the students of the Elementary and Professional conservatories in new forms of musical expression and to encourage their participation in the sound reality of our time..
