Valencia Innovation Capital, l’estratègia d’innovació de l’Ajuntament de València, will inaugurate the next one 20 de juliol en Las Naves una experiència divulgativa i immersiva amb motiu de l’eclipsi solar total que podrà observar-se des de València el pròxim 12 of August, un esdeveniment històric que no es repetia des de fa més de cent anys. La iniciativa acostarà este fenomen astronòmic a tota la ciutadania mitjançant un recorregut interactiu que combina divulgació científica, realitat virtual i intel·ligència artificial per explicar com es produïx un eclipsi, quina rellevància ha tingut per al desenvolupament de l’astronomia i de la ciència i com observar-lo de forma completament segura.
The exhibition proposes a journey that connects two historical moments separated by more than a century. Al 1905, the last total eclipse visible from the peninsula turned the north of the Valencian Community into the center of international astronomical research. However, weather conditions prevented that phenomenon from being fully recorded. We buy, thanks to immersive technologies, citizens will be able to symbolically complete that eclipse and live a recreation of the totality from a perspective impossible to experience with the naked eye.
The experience incorporates a virtual reality tour that will allow you to observe the eclipse from space to understand the alignment between the Sun, the Moon and the Earth, as well as the main phenomena associated with totality, like the solar corona, the diamond ring or Baily's pearls. Added to this is an installation that will allow each visitor to become the protagonist of the great astronomical expeditions of the early 20th century thanks to a commemorative portrait generated by artificial intelligence. A més d’oferir una experiència innovadora, la mostra posa un especial èmfasi en la divulgació científica i la prevenció. A través de diferents continguts didàctics s’explicarà la importància d’observar l’eclipsi únicament amb protecció homologada i s’oferiran recomanacions per gaudir del fenomen sense riscos per a la vista.
L’activitat romandrà oberta del 20 from July to 31 d’agost en Las Naves i està dirigida tant al públic general com a famílies, jóvens i grups organitzats. Durant el recorregut, les persones visitants podran comprendre les claus científiques de l’eclipsi solar total, que podrà observar-se des de València el pròxim 12 of August, i descobrir com tecnologies com la realitat virtual o la intel·ligència artificial poden convertir-se en eines per a la divulgació del coneixement.
