Music and folklore will shake hands next 28 March at the IVAM with Le Parody, Sole Parody's musical project, Spanish singer and songwriter who combines dark pop in her songs, invented folklores and electronics. Using only instruments that fit in a carry-on suitcase (a ukulele, a sampler, a pair of pedals, many cables), Le Parody creates songs that sound familiar, but they don't look like anything. Sole combines sampler and pedal handling, mixing live the different layers of loops that make up his songs.
