LABdeseries 2026: The series of his life. Elvira Lindo I Antonio Muñoz Molina

LABdeseries is back in its seventh edition with new content, to continue thinking about the series and reflect on the great cultural and social importance they have acquired and their relationship with reality and the present. As in previous editions, the festival will bring together audiovisual creators and specialists in various fields, in a set of talks and round tables. A The Film Library, its main festival, we will ask ourselves some questions: the series reflect an increasingly violent society? are teenagers as angry as shown in the series? We will celebrate sixty years of Narciso Ibáñez Serrador's legendary series, Stories to keep you from sleeping, with the screening of El asfalto and a round table with three current filmmakers who have adapted some episodes of the series, Paco Plaza, Paula Ortiz and Salvador Calvo. With the projection of the first chapter and presentation and colloquium by the members of the Laboratorio de Investigación de Series podcast we will remember, in his 50 birthday, a title that is in the collective memory and that reminds us that there have always been great series: Yo, Claudio. Diego San Jose is, certainly, one of the most relevant authors today, as testified by the enormous quality of his series, already become essential titles: Vote Juan, Come on John, Come on John, Celeste, His Majesty and Jakarta. We will chat with him about his work and his way of understanding audiovisual creation. And to open this year's contest, two of the great figures of our culture will tell us what the series of their lives are: the writers Antonio Muñoz Molina and Elvira Lindo. The LABdeseries will hold other sessions with screenings and talks at the Palau de la Música, Mutant Day to You 3 shores.
