In this conference we will talk about how modern science was configured during the so-called Scientific Revolution of the 16th and 17th centuries.. But first we will visit the thinkers who made it possible and its main protagonists: Euclid, Aristotle, Archimedes, Ptolemy, Vesalius, Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Harvey, Boyle y Newton. Besides, During the talk we will discover how the chemical revolution led by the French chemist and biologist Antoine Lavoisier in the 18th century was created., considered the father of modern chemistry. A historic walk that, led by the physicist and science historian José Manuel Sánchez Ron and the journalist and popularizer Patricia Fernández de Lis, will allow us to analyze the mark that that science left on mathematics, physical, astronomy, chemical, later biology and medicine.
