In the privacy of a cameraman, Flor and Toni prepare to go on stage while they wait for Joan, the colleague who is always late. Enter the make-up, the preparations, the jokes and memories shared, buried tensions also emerge that test the couple's complicity and hint at past wounds. As the time to start approaches, and seeing that Joan is not up, they are making decisions that will mark the future of La function. They have the audience waiting on the other side of the curtain and the function must go on, even if nothing is as they had imagined. In this space between bouncers, where reality and fiction merge, we discover that theater is not only a profession, it is also a way of living and loving. An emotional and tender story that reminds us that, in spite of everything, life also goes on.
