The cardboard house

In a city that seems to have forgotten who inhabits it, the residents of a run-of-the-mill community see how the foundations of their security begin to crack. This work explores the fragility of a lower-middle class caught between job insecurity and the threat of being displaced from their own environment. It is a portrait about the invisibility of those who, despite working, they live on the edge of the abyss; a story about the solidarity that is born when the system turns its back on you and dignity becomes the only possible refuge in the face of an uncertain future.
